How can I make ads without a photoshoot?
Last updated
Start with accurate product images, your brand assets and a clear brief. A studio can use those materials to build scenes, add motion and edit finished ads without arranging a new shoot.

What should I send a creative studio?
A clear starting point matters more than a large folder of files. Supply product images that show the packaging, proportions and important details. Include your logo, brand colours, approved product claims and the page the ad will lead to.
- Product images from several angles, ideally at their original quality.
- The audience, offer and main reason someone should care.
- Brand guidelines and any existing footage you have permission to use.
- Required placements and any legal or product disclaimers.
How does a product image become an ad?
The first decision is the idea, not the tool. A concept might show a product in a new setting, focus on a detail, or put a clear benefit beside the pack. The studio develops the hook and layout, builds the scene, then adds movement, sound, captions and a next step.
Before approval, check that labels, colours, proportions and product behaviour remain accurate. A convincing scene is not enough if it misrepresents what a customer will receive.
When is a real shoot still necessary?
Use real footage when the ad needs to prove a physical result, show a specific person using the product, or demonstrate something that cannot be verified from existing assets. A useful middle ground is to combine approved demonstration footage with newly produced scenes and edits.
At OMNI, the brief helps us decide what can be made from your existing material and what needs additional footage.
